	If you are interested in receiving a quote, we are committed to turnaround of that request promptly. In order to meet the short timeframe that your retailer requires, we have developed a quick checklist to assist you in submitting that account to our underwriting team. Submissions Requirements Complete ACORD Application Complete Supplements (If LRO or habitational, spreadsheets outlining the exposures and addressing the specifics of the risk may take the place of individual location supplements) Five years currently valued loss runs (within 90 days) If the insured is in business for less than 3 years, we can still entertain with a resume outlining industry experience Target premium and retention

	SFB Associates was formed as a new page for an operation that has been involved in the excess and surplus lines industry for over 20 years. During our history, we have represented many notable companies in the industry. In creating this new entity, we re-focused the many diverse specialties of our prior companies to develop a Strategically Formulated Business (SFB) approach tailored to the needs of the excess and surplus line professionals. SFB has dedicated underwriters and administrators that have spent the majority of their careers in the excess and surplus lines space. As such, the company’s staff understands, in great detail, the nature of a surplus lines book of business. SFB tailors its underwriting process to the risk it is writing. Therefore, the use of deductibles or self-insured retentions, the ability to offer sub-limits for specific coverages, non-standard and risk-specific solutions and policy modifications are commonplace. The SFB staff manuscripts the coverage it affords and the continuity of the employees as well as their experience levels are paramount in achieving this goal and the level of profitability SFB has enjoyed.
